Percival Lafer MP211
Percival Lafer built his company on patents rather than pure craft — "MP" stands for Móveis Patentados, or "Patented Furniture," reflecting his ambition to bring genuinely innovative collectible design to a wider market than the one-off commissions most of his Brazilian contemporaries relied on. The MP211 carries solid jacaranda legs and full leather upholstery, sold here as a pair to keep the set intact — a matching three-seat sofa is available separately, and can be purchased alongside the chairs at a reduced combined price to encourage keeping the full set together. Please note: current images are for reference only; the actual set (in original black leather) is still to be photographed.
