Rare 1940s Brazilian Sunburst Mirror
A handmade sunburst mirror in rainforest jacaranda, its tapered rays radiating out from a simple round mirror plate — a classic mid-century form, executed here in a wood that's now effectively unobtainable at this scale. The carving on each ray is fine enough that the piece reads as sculptural even with the mirror removed from the equation entirely.
