Colecta Editions is pleased to present Wild Clay Basin 01, the debut piece from Colecta Editions.

An original design owned by Colecta, this is a counter-top bathroom basin, hand-formed from wild clay dug in the Byron hinterland. The clay is used close to its raw state, so colour and grain shift slightly from piece to piece — no two basins are ever quite the same.

Each basin is shaped by hand, one at a time, and fired individually by a single maker. Natural variation in the clay means firing results can differ slightly between pieces; this is part of the material, not a flaw.

Available in two sizes — Ø 41 cm and Ø 43 cm — each with a natural tolerance of ±1 cm.
